Letter of Recommendation Policy
- Dentists: licensed by the NC State Board of Dental Examiners and in good standing
- Dental Hygienists: licensed by the NC State Board of Dental Examiners and in good standing
- Pre-dental students willing to learn about dentistry and help where needed
- Chaplains

Eligibility & Commitment
- Applicants need to be at least a junior in a college or university.
- Volunteers must be available to serve at least once per week. Additional availability is encouraged. Hour times vary depending on the dentist, but typical hours are either 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Due to the training process and the commitment time, we cannot accept temporary/summer volunteers.
- This is an unpaid volunteer position.
Role Expectations
- A willingness to learn, be engaged, and support the team is essential.
Health Requirements
- Proof of Hepatitis B vaccine or a declination form must be signed.
Letter of Recommendation Policy
- Agape Dental Ministry is happy to support dedicated volunteers; however, a minimum of 75 volunteer hours must be completed before a letter of recommendation will be considered.
